Our Identity
New Name.
Same Mission.
Mission Church Roswell Street
Our name reflects who we are and where we’re going: helping people find and follow Jesus from Roswell Street to the world.
Formerly Roswell Street Baptist Church, we are now part of First Baptist Church Woodstock. While the name has changed, our commitment to the gospel, biblical preaching, and the people of Marietta remains the same.
Why “Mission Church”?
Jesus has given His Church a clear mission: make disciples of all nations. That work begins right here on Roswell Street and extends to neighborhoods, workplaces, campuses, and the world.
The name “Mission Church” reminds us that:
- We are sent.
- We are called to live with purpose.
- We exist for something bigger than ourselves.
Everything we do—worship, Life Groups, kids and student ministries, outreach, and church planting—flows from the mission God has given us.
Our new logo is intentionally simple
The M stands for Mission, and the circle represents unity, wholeness, and the global scope of the gospel.
Looking Forward
We believe God is building something meaningful here on Roswell Street.
Our prayer is simple: That people would meet Jesus, families would be strengthened, disciples would be multiplied, and that the gospel would move from this community—to the ends of the earth.
